Women change the face of U.S. currency

The United States Treasury Department announced that there will be a major change to the face of U.S. currency in 2020 (double pun for the win!). Secretary of the Treasury, Jack Lew, made the announcement on June 17th, noting the timing coincides with the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage.

My personal choice is the #NotoriousRBG, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, who is not in running, as living people cannot appear by U.S. currency by law.

She looks good though.

Also out of the running are Taylor Swift,

Hillary Clinton,

and the Queen, otherwise known as Beyoncé.

So who’s most likely? The Treasury Department is listening to your suggestions though personally I think the most likely is Harriet Tubman, who won a vote in the campaign to put a woman on the $20.
