After defying the odds and waking up from a coma only two days after being discovered, Lamar Odom made even more (literal) steps toward recovery after being found unconscious last week. His family reported that he walked a few steps Tuesday morning at a hospital in LA.
Khloe Kardashian, the former athlete’s ex-wife, opened up in a statement discussing the situation earlier this morning. She has been with Odom since he was hospitalized Tuesday last week.
The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!! XOXO, Khloé.
Odom is very lucky to have the support system he currently has, as his road to recovery will be very long. There were many different drugs allegedly found in his system so it is a miracle he is alive at all.

One of the working girls recently spoke out about the situation over the phone. The woman, Monica Monroe, and the other worker servicing Odom have left Nevada as the investigation continues.
Both women were reportedly called to Odom’s VIP suite up to six times a day from Saturday until Tuesday, when they found him unconscious on his bed with foam coming out of his mouth.
Monroe says she believes she “saved his life” as no one else would have found Odom in time.
I sincerely hope this works out well for all parties involved, besides for Dennis Hof, owner of the Love Ranch, who is allegedly charging people to see the room where Odom overdosed.
