No longer content to wait, freedom fighter Brittany “Bree” Newsome of North Carolina took matters into her own hands in the early morning hours of June 27th.

After word spread of Bree’s arrest, the hashtag #FreeBree was created, and CREDO Mobile created an Indiegogo campaign to raise funds for Bree’s bail and legal fees.
